Turned the rims white on my own :)

I'm getting glossy white stripes to match the rims today.. My daughter helped me tape it up and we didn't take them off the car.

No I didn't. I didn't like that it would peel so easily. And that it would look flat. I used appliance epoxy spray. Gave it four coats. It's glossy white. I'll keep y'all posted if it peel or cracks. If it don't stay I'm gonna get them powder coated. I just wanted to give it a try. And for about $10 I think it's well worth the expirement!

I used cardboard cut it in the shape and placed it in the rim also taped the edge just inside the rim to keep it from going back there.

Now thats what you call protection from over spray . Wouldn't it be easier to just take the wheels off and then paint them? Your end results look good.

I just figured I'd repaint the lug nuts if that happens.

ok just wondering - I was thinking of doing my wheels on my truck but want to do the inside orange and the outside white because I have an RSV stripe kit coming for my truck to compliment the supercharger when we get it installed
