The door lock system is really dumb. I still haven't gotten used to the radio mounted
button. I hated the fact when i put it in park my doors unlocked, so i changed it via
the stereo controls. Now my doors don't auto unlock when in park but now i have to
double pull the door handle to open a door. Once to unlock and a second time to open
the door..... really ?

I never even knew what that little hook on the gas door was until i joined
this site..lol.

I love the cup holders as I'm an "A6 paddle shifter"

AFM is bar none the most annoying feature along with the damn ticking lifters
that my dealer refuses to acknowledge but says it is actually fuel injector clicks.

The back seats are pretty useless also unless the people up front are oompa loompas

Fuel cap holder.

Trunk safe open switch... Had small trip to my parents few weeks ago and there was small jump in road. Our bag in trunk jumped and bags handle pulled trunk open.
You should have seen my face.

Its Muscle car, not sports car.
You know the difference.

For me, the ONLY useless feature is the little strap in the front seats designed to hold the seat belt? They don't snap, just magnets that aren't strong enough to hold them in a closed position.

They must have used stronger magnets in the 2011's because I have to use a reasonable amount of force to undo the strap. They hold pretty good for me!

Mine is a later model 2010, they are way stronger than the earlier models.

They must have also fixed the gas cap holder.... never had a problem looping the tether over the hook.

I have to say the most useless is the brake pedal. Never used it.

This thread is NOT useless. From my perspective as a soon-to-be Camaro owner (will be my 3rd over all) it helps me prepare for what people see as problems and come up with ideas as to how to deal with them.

For owners, this thread is useful for ideas on fixes, thoughts, or just ignorance and helps them to deal with the problems.....some people just use things wrong and once presented with another's perspective, the problem is resolved or at least minimized.

For designers, it's always a good idea to pay attention to the feedback of your customers. To state "The C5 is perfect, shut up if you don't like something." is to deny opportunities for improvement. Nothing is perfect, nothing. Small tweaks to something as simple as adding an exstensible sun visor for drivers to use or not use is a way to make more customers happy with no downside to those who are satisfied with the existing visors.

So my biggest flaw with the Camaro: Fanboys with closed minds No offense intended, if this thread is a waste of your time there's always the Next Thread link below....

Are you kidding me? Both your ignorant assumptions are wrong. I get to school, park, turn the car off, and take a few seconds to gather my things and make sure I didn't forget anything. I'm not going to sit there and waste gas idling just so when I'm ready to go my stupid window feature doesn't activate.

you can use the button on the driver's door to lock both doors instead of the button by the radio.

I think what he means is change your way of getting out of the car. when you know you are about to park, put your windows up, then do all your other stuff. by the time you are done, your windows are up.

Of course I could do it differently I'm just pissed that he would have the audacity to imply I am lazy, what a dick
