Nor Cal Camaro Club

Just a note to let Northern California Camaro Lovers that there already is a Camaro Club called "Camaro Generations" that will be meeting on Tuesday Night, June 2, 2009 at Maita Chevrolet in the Elk Grove Auto Mall at 7 PM.
I will be there along with ten to twenty other Camaro Owners. The Web site is CamaroGenerations.com Our meeting in July will be at John L. Sullivan Chevrolet in Roseville, CA on Tuesday, July 7th at 7PM. Hope to see you there. I seem to be the only member of Camaro Generations on this forum as I am awaiting my new 2010 2SS Camaro to go along with my 67 RS.

Yes ..I brought to light the fact that Sullivan was adding on parts to make more $$$$ and then Tippy (their internet guy) sent me a personal email telling me they were justified to charge extra and wouldnt I do the same if I had the cars to do so.? I thought about 1 second and said no.. I can sleep at night knowing that I didnt screw some one just to make extra profit >What he should realize is that if they treat me fair Im gonna buy those parts anyway.. beacause I want that tint an the car cover, and the wheel locks and possibly the bass speaker ...but now NOT FROM THEM!!

WOW I am actually quite worried now... I told him I did not want any of that as of yet, because what good is it to get paint sealant and a clear bra etc... if I decide to paint stripes on the car what a waste, also they want way too much for tinted windows. But like you I would eventually buy the other stuff, just not now, also I'd be taking my car in there to have it serviced... He is suposed to be getting back to me on this issue... I am going to be pissed if they say they are going to add all that to my order!!

So did anyone ever get a real Nor Cal group together? It's funny that San Jose considers themselves "Nor-Cal" lol Really? Redding is Northern California!! lol San Jose is central California. But whatever works. I think Nor Cal should be Sacramento and North.

At any rate, I'm still trying to find meets, groups, etc. for Nor Cal. Anyone??

I find Northern California to be Santa Cruz and north. Socal is South of the Grapevine. Central cali is everywhere in between.

There haven't been many meets in the bay area as I've been busy with SEMA/thanksgiving and other holidays. I know a few others have scheduled meets here and there, but nothing on a consistant basis. Sacramento area is kinda barren for some reason, most likely because they are in Camaro Generations, and San Jose has Camaros Limited...

After the new year when I have some extra money, I'll be scheduling more meets/cruises. Hopefully others will schedule some also. =)

haha... I think the Bay Area is just that...the Bay Area...or Central California...sort of in the middle of the state---not in the top/northern part.

I just think it's funny that people in the Bay Area think they are in Northern California. Love all of you though!

That sounds great Mindz! Hope to get together and meet you all sometime soon!

And you are right, there are VERY FEW Camaros around here or Sacramento. I can go weeks and never see one. Not sure why that is. Hopefully there will be more in the future!

Keep me posted on upcoming events and have Happy Holidays!

I like how you consider SEMA a holiday lol. That's how you know you're a car lover.

If I had a Camaro I would totally do a trip to vegas!
