It be a shame to see you burn your car, but without mods I think the Jeep will beat you to 100.

Hey, I know that the older ones are not that great but the 2012 are supposed to be pretty bad ass. I just looked at one in a magazine and it says 480HP for the 2012. And it says it is underated. I'm really thinking about getting one. I went to the Pittsburgh new car show and they had a red one. This thing looks great and from what I'm reading it is a runner. I love my Tahoe but I really don't tow anything and I never use the third row seat. I miss the power of my Camaro in the winter because it is kept in the garage. I hate to loose a race. My Tahoe is just to heavy. I did talk to SLP about putting a supercharger on it but not sure about that. They just put one on a Escalade and it was pretty bad ass but I just don't know about it.

The older ones were badass. I had a 2010 the interior just got a little to small. I know the 2012's have a lot more interior space. Can't say how the performance is, never got to drive one. They are really nice though. Gas mileage sucks though.

My buddy's 1995 4wd Cherokee 4.0 5-speed manual get's 13 around town(I get 15-16 around town in my 1999 Cherokee).... He replaced o2 sensors and everything, nothing has helped.... SRT8 GC's really aren't that bad when you look at other Jeeps and Mopar products(Ram SRT10).

Have you ever even driven let alone seen a SRT-8 JEEP? Or are you just talking out your ass.

We all know our cars will take the Jeep from the roll, but have big problems with them from the whole. This is do to the AWD and 3:73 gears. There are many threads on this forum which support this statement

I have two friends with them raced them a bunch of times, they will hole shot you hard but after about 60 mph they fall off quick...you will run him down fast! I have never lost a race to one. My one friends has bolt ons and a tune and runs 13.0s avg and in good weather 12.90s, he wast me off the line but by mid track I am already at his door and pulling away. If you loose stock for stock, you need more driving practice, they dont stand a chance against a good driver in a SS, I know this as fact.

Ok, let me put it to you this way. That video is very acurate and shows the same results as I have experienced first hand. I have ran numerous SS Camaros from a stop and pulled 4-5 car lengths on them every time. The Jeep is a beast from a dead stop.... and I am positive I would pull the same on you. AWD with that much low end tq plus the gearing and you dont have a chance. There are not that many vehicles out there that will stay with it to 40... unless they are AWD or have an excellent driver... which most drivers arent. The Jeep is effortless and anyone can drive it. I had a 2004 Viper (modded) before this Jeep and the Jeep would kill it from a stop all day long. Its not until the car hooks up that its going to gain any ground. And for the Camaro... its not going to happen before 80mph. The new ones are running pretty much the same as the old ones. I have a friend with a new one and our pulls are very close. But feel free to race one the next time you see one, and please post pics of you burning your car. I need a good laugh.

Non related but was pretty damn funny.

No chance you pulling 4 cars. I raced one last week from a light. Got the launch but by 80 i drove by him like he hit the brakes. The one i raced from 60 was MUCH faster

Lets say I haven't, what does that have to with the obvious terrible driving in that video? Hell in half the races they don't even take off at the same time. So before you get to ****y realize that you are defending an obviously terrible example.

Point being that it takes less than a trek to 100mph to close the gap which is fact unless of course you drive like the guy above. And it's wonderful that you had an old Viper but that has nothing to do with this discussion. Obviously a AWD SRT-8 is going to best an old Viper spinning the tires.

As for a good laugh just keep watching the porn star ride alongs.
