Hang on, so the entire thing is made by Nissan, and they just put a Chevy badge on it?

It's as much Chevy as the Aveo and Metro were.

Unfortunately the CAFE standards are going to mean we need more of this kind of thing, underpowered, ugly, slow vehicles just so they can keep building more Camaros and Corvettes. And if that's what it takes I am all for it.

But at 25 mpg highway, this is gonna hurt their CAFE, unless they think they're gonna convince full size, truck based cargo van buyers to buy this in large numbers instead.

Apples and oranges..... The point I was making was it gets better mileage than other Chevy vans or cargo haulers. It gives people another choice to consider. And that will be what is necessary if we are going to be able to enjoy high powered cars.

I always thought that one of the things the Express had going for it was the larger size. You can fit 2.5 times as much stuff in them than these ugly new ones. And on top of that, you could tow with the diesels and V8s. Say what you will about gas mileage, the current ones get the job done.

If they're going to screw up a vehicle this might as well be the one to mess up. I don't think anyone was really looking forward to it's release.

Metro? Sure. Aveo? No. Daewoo was owned by GM, just as Holden and Open are.

Ok seriously? This shouldn't appeal to anyone on this website anymore or less than a Ford Transit Connect.
If you had a small hole in your fleet and people simply buying delivery vehicles were saying, "hey, I would buy a crap load of G-vans if you only had some local delivery vehicles with better milage" you would want something FAST. This is a fast and economical solution for a market that IS NOT styling dependant. It wants function and fuel economy. PERIOD!!!! To prove my point go find the enthusiast site for the NV200 or this vehicle. Good luck!
