clear bra quote..

Im shopping around to get a clear bra put on on my Camaro. i found a place close home that quote me $650, he said he will use ventureshield material. And It will cover hood, fenders, front bumper and side mirrors.
what do you guys think? is it a good price or should i keep shopping around for a better price?

I think that's too cheap. You better make sure they are using Venture Shield "Ultra". I had an installer pass off Venture Shield as Venture Shield "Ultra". Trust me, it isnt the same. I wound up removing my clear bra.

i paid 100 and i had Xpel Extreme film installed, make sure the film does have a warranty and the installer is a certified installer, cause most warranties don't cover if the installer wasnt certified

Thats a good price. Make sure it is Ventureshield Ultra. I install the Ultra film and it is a coated film versus the standard Ventureshield film which is uncoated. look fro the purple lettering on the back of the liner.

Stark the film will be warrantied from yellowing, cracking, and fading but not peeling. So your post is a little inacurate. If yourp oint was true then the kits they sell to people would not come with a warranty and they would state that on their website.

Yes thats a big my bad i wasnt specific on the warranty issue ,forgive me.
Sidenote 3m has some of the worst orange peel appearance out of most of the films out there

Agreed. Not only does it have a lot of orange peel but it has a bad adhesive. Its tough to install and very tough to remove. It usually leaves the adhesive on the paint when removing the film. I have also seen 3M crack after 4-5 years on a car especially in hot weather climates. Once that happens you cant get it off the car.
