shifting on WOT

hi, I have a v6 and I was wondering about our shifter. So, whenever I floor it and shift right below the redline from 1st to 2nd, it's hard to pull it out and put it into 2nd gear. I've tried this on a 2012 mustang and it shifts pretty smooth. Is it just my car or is this for everybody? I haven't driven any other camaro in WOT so I wouldn't know at all.

Thanks!

One thing to be sure of is to make sure the trans is up to temp. Can't recall the temp reading on my old 2LT, but in my SS needs to be above the hash mark just to the left of 180*. Usually about 20 minutes of driving will get you there.

The M6 trans in the V6 is not the smoothest shifting trans, note. The 1-2 shift is fairly notchy. I will say the 2-3 in your trans is a smoother shift than the Tremec 2-3 in the SS.

Do a search and check it out. If you have continued problems I'd get to a dealer.
