Question about Hurst Short Throw Shifter

My father purchased my car used over a month ago, and with it came a Hurst short throw shifter. The shift knob is the little white knob and I'll post a picture of it, I liked it at first but now I saw the factory Hurst shift knob and I really liked the look of it, now I was wondering if I could just order the knob itself or would I have to order the whole certain kit?

Here's a picture of my shifter:

Here's a picture of the shifter I want:

That knob added to your shifter wouldn't look very good IMO. Too thick without the boot riding up to the bottom of the knob. I like the q-ball retro style knob. Looks better than that oversized one. The hurst short throw shifter on the 2013s is more like the ZL1 style knob which works/looks better than the fat one. As to your original question I don't know.

You can buy the knob alone but then you'll need the OEM shifter adapter that Hurst sells.

I'll try to find the model number for shifter. You could check the sell forums for a used too.

Like I don't want just the knob, I want to remove the whole shifter with the knob and replace it with the factory hurst one. I want it to look exactly like the second picture.

I see. I would suggest you try that shifter/knob out in your hand first. It really is too big and doesn't feel comfortable - at least it didn't for me. Good luck in your search.

Oh, so you want the whole OEM Hurst assembly then? You could get lucky like I did and fetch one in the For Sale section here. I paid $180+shipping.

The adapter allows you to use the aftermarket Hurst that you have now with the stock size shifter knob.

Yeah that's what I'm looking for, if I can't find one where do you know what other sites I could look for? I'm going to PM you something.

Your shifter came with a stick to use that style knob. Whoever installed your shifter chose the retro handle and white knob instead. If you can find out who the previous owner was, they may still have it lying around. But before you do that you should drive a car with the factory knob. It is the worst shift knob ever. Even GM doesn't use it anymore and a lot of people install aftermarket shifters just to get rid of it. You may like the looks of it, but I don't think you'll like the feel of it. I have one in my car and I can't wait to get rid of it.
