It's about the same. There are a few guys here; HufferSS, runs centri; and Supercharged SS runs a Magnacharger. Both are in the 9's. It really comes down to your supporting mods.

Nothing really went boom. It still went 10.7's all day on 7 cylinders. We were just to stupid to know its was broke. Never had a rear problem. Never had a major Trans problem. It just wasn't shifting as quick as it use to. For a car with 300 passes its been pretty trouble free. I'm prob up to about $12k on the build so far. |

Both are great, and have their own strength's and weaknesses. PD is better down low, Centri is better up top. Really you can't go wrong with either. Just find a good shop and a good blower and let 'er rip!!!!

Lol...ok. I love your outlook on life....you're the only guy I know who blew up his engine and transmission and writes em off as not really broken...just kind of bruised.

Heat soak isn't that big of an issue. "heat soak" is technically referring to intercoolers and when they are top mounted. Cooling these days is much better, and heat soak is very rare. I'm sure Jamie would only need one hand at most to count the times heat soak was an issue. Also, the primary reason a centri drags better is off the line traction. Both basically do the same thing, and they both have pros and cons. If this isn't a full drag build, ETs shouldn't be the only thing looked at. But a centri tends to result in lower ETs.
