1LE suspension now a stand alone orderable option for $1,975.

Not sure if many people know this but you can now order the 1LE suspension as a stand alone option on an any SS Camaro. It will not come with the extras that the 1LE SS Performance package does. It is for the suspension components only.

It's a $1,975 options and it's an LPO so the parts are shipped to the dealer and installed once the car arrives from the factory. This is a nice option for those that don't want to have to deal with the summer tires on the 1LE. I still feel that for $3500, the 1LE SS performance package is the better value because of all of extras you get at that price.

Quote:
The Camaro 1LE Track Pack is fully SCCA-
approved and offers the same suspension
components found in the production 1LE
performance package. Contents include
a larger, 27-mm solid front stabilizer bar
and 28-mm solid rear stabilizer bar for
improved body control, as well as ZL1
wheel bearings, toe links, and rear shock
mounts for improved on-track performance.

Yep. It's basically just an upgrade to the stock SS suspension.

1LE also has different transmission gearing in addition to the 3.91's and of course the wheels and tires. I think this is a fantastic option for 2010-2012 owners that didn't have the 1LE option or those that for whatever reason cant have a manual transmission, but as GearheadSS said the 1LE package from the factory is still the better value.

Since the package is a dealer installed items....I believe that's why the price is what it is because you have to factor in the labor involved.

Also missing zl1 fuel pump and oil seperator as well as all the suede trim.

However this is how you would get your hands on an auto 1le.

This doesn't look like anything different than the 1le package that is available to buy form parts direct for 1300. And for the 1300 via parts direct You'd still have the stock parts to resell if you'd like.

Can you post a link to where you can add this option during the ordering process?

Actually, this package can be had for $1385 from parts taxi. And yes it includes the monotube rear shocks and valved fronts.

This package is for guys like me who have the car paid down and don't want to trade up just to improve the system. Thinking I'll add it in May.
