What's the craziest thing somebody has done when they see your Camaro? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm curious what other 2010 drivers have seen or heard while driving their new cars around. Everyday I get thumbs up and rubber-neckers almost crashing around me, but these are my favorites so far:

1.) Pulled into the Sam's Club gas station and the attendant yells out "Autobots, transform!". I think he was a little "slow" but cool nonetheless.

2.) Pulled into Chevron gas station and 20 yr. old gives several standing bows, paying homage to the great Camaro.

3.) While leaving the Blockbuster video store, two guys come out of the adjacent gym and oogle the car for several minutes. One of them insists that I sit down so he can shut the door for me. The other tells me not to get freaked out but they are going to have to watch me drive away. I'm pretty sure they were gay, but hey, they looked good for their age.

4.) An older lady at the Costco gas station walked up, stuck her head in the open driver's window, takes a DEEP inhale through her nose, and tells me that she just LOVES the smell of the leather. me too, thanks.

I'm sure others have had some pretty strange responses.

cruisin down the street with a lot of bars, stopped at a light while a guy fake humps 2 inches away from the hood, went from pissed to flattered after i realized he wasnt actually touching the car.

My husband was driving my car one weekend, and someone followed him home to see the car and compliment the car...
If that was me, and I was alone, i think it might haved scared me a bit...
I've had people go as crazy for the COLOR of my car, as they do about the Camaro itself...

A lady at the dealer let her poopy pants kid sit in the passenger seat so my car smelled like little kid poop on teh drive home... after that she screams "I got finger prints on it!!" then pulls up her shirt to rub them off!! OMG! Why The Face!!

Oh too is it a bad thing when you pass a Yaris and the dude who is driving has his GF in the passenger seat and shes like checking our your car then looks up to see you and starts smiling ear to ear? and she does it like 5 times that you passed back and forth going down the freeway?

Lots of slow heal turns as i'm driving by and then the smile, and thumbs up..

drove by an open mechanics bay at pep boys and saw a bunch of mechanics point and drop jaws, then last mech turned to see what's everyone pointing at and see's car and Yell so loud I could hear over my Boston Acu.. "Holy F@cK!!!

Take what I can get....LoL

I like the kids. Passed 3 kids riding bikes- first one is a girl, she turns around and points as I'm passing. As she's pointing, goes off the sidewalk and falls off her bike- I looked back and she was OK, but I got a laugh.

My step-son, who is a freshman in high school, told me yesterday that an entire gang of girls offered to marry him so they'd be able to ride around in the Camaro every day.

The heads turn everywhere I go. Kids call it SICK!! The older folks "You know I had one just like that in 69" A guy at a gas station comes over to the car, sticks his head in and says new car smell, you haven't farted in it enough.
