Anyone who is expecting the announcement of a whole new model is going to be disappointed. No I don't have inside information on that fact it's just common sense.

It is the response count to the actual poll that they were interested in not the number of posts on the thread. With that said your statement is still accurate.

Being restricted to hand controls, I would very, very much support an automatic (a third/fourth hand to work the gearbox/clutch would just be weird) !!!!!!

Why would they even offer this car in an automatic?

One should beg forgiveness for even suggesting the option..

Agreed. Its like the z06 you can only get a 6 speed, it's a sports car not a luxury car learn to drive a stick or go buy a Mercedes to take the kids to soccer practice.

You both missed that particular discussion a few hundred posts ago.

The auto < manual train has left the station....

Because you'd sell more cars and that's the bottom line! That's why they're in business! If it were my company, I'd offer both ad let the buyer choose what they want! If you don't want an A6, then don't get one! Just my take on it!

Heck, I'll even go so far to say that they'd probably sell more A6's than M6's too, if give the option! It might not be as much fun on the open road as ann m6, but they work better in traffic!

Once again, just my opinion!

Oh, and sorry about bringing the M6/A6 back up, but I must've missed that train!

As long as we're talking dual clutch A6's, you might as well give it some sort of launch control, like the GT-R' and the Porsche's have (I think the ZR1 has it too, but I'm not 100% sure)!

YES YES YES AUTOMATIC PLEASE!! . I think this car is sooo sexy and it's a AWESOME! Car for this price. If the automatic model of this car was made with everything the same this car would be wayyyyy better and better marketing aswell. So it's a win win situation.

I used to be a manual only kind of guy for road racing but lately autos are really appealing. They definitely are not the slush boxes of the past!
