emblems on dash and lower fender

I was thinking an SS emblem on the passenger side dash and on the lower front fenders would look good. It would quickly distinguish an SS from an LT with wheels and spoiler. Any feedback ? What emblems ? The ones on the front or rear ?

I'd becareful of putting anything plastic or metal on the passenger side dash -- especially if its on or near where the airbag is. God forbid, but in the case of an accident you wouldn't want that thing flying at your passenger when the airbag deploys.

I agree... first of all a large "SS" emblem should be in the middle of the grill (instead of a gold "bowtie") and both forward fenders should have an "SS" emblem at the end of "Camaro" or just under it...people do pay extra to have the prestige and power of the "SS" and GM should recognize it (just like they used to do in the muscle car era of the late sixties and early 70's).
Oh, and I almost forgot...the steering center cap should have an "SS" on it to provide even more distinction from its "little brother." Oh, and don't forget to add a large "SS" emblem on the rear (again, in place of the large gold bowtie emblem)...Now, no one will ever mistake it for not being an "SS" Camaro!

Yeah, I couldn't believe they didn't put the SS emblem in the middle of the grill. And those ones under the Camaro emblem in '69 were awesome.....

No emblem on air bag area is a good suggestion. Anyone notice the little SS on the bottom of the steering wheel ?

If you put a badge on the Airbag area just make sure you get the emblem mirrored so it reads backwards.

This way when it hits the passenger in the forehead on impact, they can at least read it when they look at the mirror.

But seriously, everyone agrees with the SS in the center of the grill. Now it is up to some after market grill manufacturers to give us what we want!

I bet a lot of 6 cyl Camaros will get rebadged as SS's. Of course the owners will only be fooling themselves.

What are you going to use as dye if you don't mind me askin' that is?
Regular vinyl dye or something different? That opens up a whole lot of possibilities...
