I'll respect it's capabilities. However that does not change for a minute that it looks like an ugly blob.

I've owned a lot of Porsches. Can't imagine ever owning a Panamera. Sure it drives nice, but who wants a car you have to walk up to backwards to avoid looking at it? I don't know any of my other Porsche pals that own a Panny either, it is a unique demographic that owns them.

I'm not believing a price over $55K for the Z and hoping for less. Remember, they're deleting a lot of the premium items in this car and it's NA. Compared to the ZL1, it's relatively low tech but has the go fast parts.

You got a link for that? I hadn't heard that, but if the Zl1 is $54xxx the Z could be $55xxx.

The base C7 is set at 52K, that would likely make the C7 Z51 package just under 60K,
other than the carbon brakes (does a 3200-lb car even need them?) the Z51 C7 has all the track goodies the Z-28 has. My take; the Z-28 will be priced just under the Z51 vette |

I know 7 guys who own 911's that also own Panameras (they've had them out a out local cars&coffee events) Their thoughts are the exact opposite of yours and they stated that they get more looks conversations with the panamera than they do with the 997 or 996 cars they own. Too each his own I guess. Last edited by TOBY J; 04-26-2013 at 10:00 PM. |
