Hello Camaro5, My name is Ritch and my family has been hit with the news that my 18yr old step son was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer.

We went for a surgury for what we thought was a hernia in his left hips area. Turns out it was the cancer. Since April 11th with the biopsy surgury, its been so hecktic and hard on the family.

He has gotten all sorts of scans, tests, and surgical proceedures done. He had Bone Marrow biopsy, and a heart cath for the chemo treatments put in his chest. I even had to take him to the fertility clinic and bank some samples in case he becomes sterile.

Tuesday was his first chemo treatment and right in the middle of it, the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the building and he got to feeling worst out in the sun and nearly passed out before we got to go back in. His heart rate was real hight tward the end of the treatment and he needed more fluids because he was getting real pale. He ended up passing out on the way home so we went back to the ER after a 9 hour day at the hospital.

So on top of chemo stuff, we now have heart issues to have tests for. Most of the tests are pay before treatment and my wife has crappy insurance that we have to meet $6000 before they start to pay. I quit my job to drive him to all these appts and I won't lie, its hit our finances hard.

I am not asking for money, lol, but if you can do what you can, Pray, donate,or just read this. I also needed to know if anyone has ever used "gofundme" dot com collection page. Is it legit, scam, ???? Thank You and God Bless.

Lord we ask right now that you meet this family where the are! you say you are an ever "present" help in time of need so we know you are right there. we ask for healing for ritches son in Jesus name! may your will be done God w.e it may be but we ask for his healing and for peace joy and strength through this storm! You promise to never leave or forsake us and we hld on to your promises and faith when all else fails. We also pray for a breakthrough in Ritches finances. Lord make a way and just as you multiplied fish and bread we ask you multiply their finances during this trial. We ask this in your name AMEN!

Thank You everyone for the prayers. His bowling team is doing a benifit for him and our Church is doing one as well. My Mother in Law has rent houses and she is giving us the rent for one of her houses for a bit. Family and friends are preparing dinners for us as well. My wifes job is also taking a collection for us. $350 in gift cards for gas and restauants so far.
