Do event codes update daily or weekly at the dealer - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does anyone know how to get your event codes as they change?

My dealer sends me a weekly copy of my workbench. I was told their data only gets updated weekly. Either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning.

I see other posts that show status intervals ( Some) more frequent than weekly.

Just wondering if I am missing something or If the dealer only chooses to check status on a weekly bassis.

Thanks for any info...Sorry if this is a repeat. I looked but Forum is getting so many posts

My dealer told me mine was updated Monday.

I get updates from my dealer Friday mornings and was told they only get updates once per week on either later Thursday or Friday morining.

My dealer explained that tuesdays and thursdays are when things happen at GM. So orders are generally accepted on tuesdays and status usually changes on thursdays. Not sure how accurate that is, but he seemed pretty confident when we were discussing the timeline from order to delivery.

well if updated you mean... is your status code actually where your car is... who the hell knows. .. I've been sitting at 3000 just shy of a month now. . . **** if i know what is going on with the car.

My order was updated yesterday (Wednesday, 5/20) morning. Tuesday morning it was at 3400; by Wednesday morning it had moved all the way to 4B00. I checked both mornings and have a copy of the workbench order sheet.

Exactly what happened to me. Now hopefully it gets a quick QC check and gets on a train as soon as possible.

When You check are you checking at the dealer or 800#....?

It is updated regularly and not on any particular day. It can update any time during the week.

You get a weekly copy of your workbench? That is so cool...my dealer doesn't even call me when I change status codes...I either have to call him randomly evey now and then or ask someone else. I'm jealous.

I was told the workbench is updated every morning around 330-430am and stays that way all day. Its up to the dealer to pull the info for you. Some dealers are better than others.
