Removing Guage Cluster (Speedometer)

Does anyone know how to remove the gauge cluster on the dash? Not the 4 pack gauges but the actual MPH/RPM cluster of gauges. GM had to order a new set for my fiancee's car b/c they kept sticking and I'm just wondering how much of the dash actually has to be removed in order to replace these.

do you have any pics that you can show me what you have to remove and where the screws are located? I was envisioning that you can just remove the grey plastic trim around the cluster and there would be screws behind that holding the gauges in.

Are there clips holding the silver trim on? How easy is it to pop off?

Buddy! It's easy. There are clips in the trim piece. Pull from the top outside edges. You will remove the trim and then see the four screws.

Hate to revive this, but I got the trim off but how do I get that rubber part off so I can access the bottom screws?

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

This is a recall issue. I'm having mine fixed next week, at the dealer.
(they kept sticking)
