I am afraid of that I have read different things but my gut tells me that I would just end up as another person with a high duty cycle.

Time to start looking at some larger injectors, plenty of options .. Personally I wouldn't drop below the 3.6" on the stock maggie injectors, support mods dependent.

I am thinking the same aside from the 900 dollar id850s who else makes a direct drop in/plug in that is good to go. I will have the zl1 adm fpcm for my fuel pump set up when I pulley down to the 3.4 or go overdriven I am not sure which I want to do either overdriven rear with 3.8 front or 3.4 front with 1 to 1 rear

I'd talk with your tuner see what he's had the most success with. I know FIC has its issues with tuners.

Bosch are good. I know the 80lb injectors included in the AGP kit drive and tune easy. You could call them and see what a set cost.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant. They include 80lbs injectors because they don't want customers to have to buy them later. This way the base kit has enough injectors to max out the stock motor.

I went with the Siemens Deka 63 lbs (at 300kpa) injectors. They are similiar to the ZR1 injectors, but have the old style EV1 connector, so they will require an adapter from the USCAR style to EV1. These harness can be found for $25 shipped. This injector is similiar to the ZR1 one, but flows more and can be found for $325 for the set. These are the upgraded injectors that Edelbrock sells for their Eforce kit if you go above standard boost levels.

With what you have you are safe, you can actually pulley down to a 3.4 and retune and be safe. You will hit about 580 with a really good safe tune with that set up.
We do the ZL1 pump, ADM controller and a 3.4 pulley on 90% of our Maggie installs and we have yet to run out of injector. But it is all in the tune.
You will probably experience some belt slip over 5200 rpm, you wont necessarily hear it but you will see it on your dyno power pull, we use the JRE super tensioner to cure that.
PM or call me if you have any other questions.
