You'll need a pair of these glasses to go with that hood.

With all due respect guys...that whole package just looks horrible....horrible. Honestly the rear spoiler looks like something right out of "The Fast and Furious"

I've heard nothing but great things about Lingenfelter so maybe my hopes were just too high when I saw the title of the thread??

Sorry to jack the thread but if you want to see some really tasteful and well done body components, revolution is putting together some beautiful stuff.

Anyone here seen the movie "Gran Torino"? Let's take a lesson from Clint Eastwood's character, shall we?

Another one up in the “not feeling the love” column. Personally I’d like to see a modern/retro stringer hood design with a bit of ’67 vette inspiration.

Spoiler is wrong and the double hood looks silly. How bout cowl induction with a better spoiler?

Im not too sre about the length of the spoiler but I like the hood better on the Lingenfelter car than the Revolution car. The LPE hood has smooth edges and follows the body lines, the slits I'm not sure about but yet. The Revolution hood looks too Rectangle Like for me, maybe if they rounded it instead of it's square edges it would look better. Kind of like the SS hoods on the 4th gens - I liked those. To each their own though. I would look at a different hood if it follows the body lines, as of right now I am happy with the "clean" look.

I think I understand what they are going for...loud and proud!

But, IMO the mods to the exterior need to accent it, not over take it...and I think these over take it.

Good job on the work and I'm sure the craftsmanship is there too...just not my cup of tea.

Piece By Piece (in picture order):
1. Upper Grille: If there is a bowtie in the middle of the 2 new vertical bars, I like it
2. Lower Front Spoiler: If the stock lower grille section will be filled in, I like it.
3. Hood Intakes: If this is a temporary design which will be filled in on the top OR the bottom, dependent upon air intake upgrade, I like it. If the dual intake stays, I don't like it.
4. Side Skirts: I like that they don't change the look of the car too much, but bring the front and rear together.
5. Rear Spoiler: If improvements are being made to air coefficients, and the "reverse visor" will help that, I am for it. Otherwise, for visual sake, make the spoiler squarer and straighter. It could be V-shaped, bottom of V toward the rear, to match angles of the front spoiler.
6. Lower Rear Skirt: This is my favorite upgrade of all. The stock lower rear section is the worst part of the car, regardless of gfx or not - it's low-grade plastic, it's disgusting! If Lingenfelter can smooth out the back and make it look like the rest of the body, please do!

Keep up the good work!
Speed

Hi, I am new here and let me just say if it wasn't for you guys and the website I would be lost. I grew up with camaros for most of my life. My neighbors had 4 of them 3 69's and 1 68 and 1 mean 67. I used to go over there and watch them work on them and restore them back to the orginal form. I fell in love with the car and ever since then I have been a camaro guy. I finally got my first camaro in 1990 . Unfortunately I only had it 2 years before my beloved camaro met an untimely death when I lost control on a wet road and I totaled it. Since then I have been waiting to get a new one. Now that the 5th Gen is out I hope to be ordering mine sometime next summer .

I think all that new aftermarket stuff coming out is really cool and exciting . I guess there is a benefit to waiting to order my IBM 1SS because it gives me a chance to see all the new part and accessories and get a plan together so when I do get my SS I will already know what I will get .
