Had a few pm's from people asking about the wheels and status, so to clarify.

The wheels are at the UPS store of origin. OP is appealing UPS's denial of insurance claim. I am waiting for refund (escalated to paypal). OP is holding the money until he takes possession of the wheels.

PM OP directly if you are interested in them.

I have been pretty patient, but the seller is starting to look pretty shady.

Wheels are at the UPS store awaiting resolution of a dispute between seller and UPS. Claim was already denied once, and is under appeal.

OP thinks I could somehow get a paypal refund AND get the UPS store to ship the wheels back to me. UPS store has already confirmed that is NOT going to happen.

So why is OP holding on to my refund? Shady business...probably. Hopefully Paypal comes through and issues my refund in the next few days.

Warning**** to anyone looking to buy these wheels, I wouldn't.

And that’s the reason why I try to buy locally or from a reputable business. AJP question, doesn’t pay-pal hold the funds, Up until u accept the buying items are in agreed condition? Thats what I thought.

OP said paypal had held his funds and frozen his account, which would be all the more reason to issue my refund ASAP, you would think.

Anyway, Paypal just decided in my favor, so I should get my funds back in the next few days.

But I think I will stick with local transactions and site sponsors from now on.
