threw a code after tune

so my car threw a P015B and P015A. i looked them up its a O2 Sensor Delayed Response - Lean to Rich and O2 Sensor Delayed Response - Lean to Rich, bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 senor 1. anything to worry about? i know they are emissions codes so they arent serious but shouldnt have the tune turned off that from being able to happen?

Headers cause those codes sometimes as the sensors are farther downstream and take longer to see the fueling changes, especially at idle. Most tune them out. Talk to your tuner, perhaps they were overlooked.

I am sure it was a simple over site.

These 2 codes are New for 2013 Models and come up if Headers are installed, so they must be turned off.

Ted.

I am stock besides a rotofab intake, elite catch can, and mild to wild switch, NO TUNE or headers....and I got this code tonight P015B. Car is running great, even with the code on. Should I be alarmed and take it in to the dealer or just clear and see if it comes back first?
thanks..........

My first and only mod ... I just installed a CAI intake on my m6 13 ZL1 and my check engine light has been on since.

Here is what the Torque app shows me:
P015B OBD Trouble Code

P015B - Generic
Type Powertrain - Fuel and Air Metering - ISO/SAE Controlled
Description
O2 Sensor Delayed Response - Lean to Rich
Location Bank 1 Sensor 1

What do I do? Should I be driving it?

I got the same one as you can see in the post above... I took it to the dealer and they asked me if I noticed anything different in the drive ability, I did not. They just cleared the code and blamed it on the new replacement blower they had just put in two days prior, saying the computer needed to relearn air/fuel ratio .....I personally feel it's a combination of the new blower with the rotofab and it just needed to relearn like they said...
They said keep an eye on it and if it comes back they would look into it more and possibly even have to replace the o2 sensor...
It hasn't been back yet and I have a dam smooth idle and No bucking, surging and she's driving just beautifully.. so just clear it and you should be good I would say!

Thanks...it still drives like a beast, so I did not think it was bad. I just wanted to hear from someone else.

I really am confident that are little code is nothing and the car is just touchy to the new swallow of air... once it learns which should happen fairly quickly, we should have smooth sailing....
At least that's what my experience thus far has lead me to believe.
Good luck.

A Custom tune will correct this issue.

When you installed the CAI it threw MAF calibration off far enough to slow the O2 response and set the code.

It is likely clearing the code will be enough but no guaranty.

Ted.
