I'd wait for official word from the father.

Yeah, maybe I'm overestimating us as a clearinghouse for information, but I think we should get word here very soon as to what is actually happening. Camaro5 is where many thousands of people look for early accurate info.

I'm getting a ZL1, and I have Faith, but I also want to be kept in the loop, and just going to code 2030 without an explanation is bothersome.

My Questions:

1. Is Imperial Blue on temporary constraint or is it cancelled for ZL1?

2. If IBM is on temporary constraint, when is it most LIKELY to be available again?

3. Will the people who already placed an order for IBM have to change their color?

4. If IBM is permanently removed, will there be an additional color choice to replace it?

5. What caused the problem? (Taking bad medicine is easier if we understand why.)

A merge would be most beneficial, Mr Moderator, Sir.

I just got the call from my dealer saying IBM will not be available for the 2012 and that I will have to pick another color.

There are multiple threads on this subject now so I'm not sure where to post this but I have now gotten confirmation on BOTH of my orders that not only is IBM unavailable for the ZL1 but it will NOT be available. They are both telling me this is NOT temporary.

Anyone know if IBM will be available on the SS coupe through '12? I'm planning on ordering an IBM SS in the spring.

I'm heartbroken and this may be a deal breaker for me. I always loved Daytona Blue C2's (close cousin to IBM).

Not sure exactly what I'm going to do. None of the other colors speaks to me like the Imperial Blue
That really sucks man. I love my IBM and if I was going to get a ZL1 I'd want it to be IBM as well. Really love the way this color pops in the sun.

Would be smart of GM to stop painting Malibus and Silverados and Impalas and whatever else in the GM lineup IBM and save it for a special car like the ZL1 if they're running low on supply.

If they cancel IBM im really hoping they pick up dark blue metallic. If so i will be changing the color on my order. The IBM reminded me too much of my last Camaro which i had Navy Blue Metallic. Under most light angles it came up purple. In all the angles of the DBM that i have seen so far it stays blue.
