Teenage Dream Build Thread
Hey guys so I have finally found the Perfect name for my car. Teenage dream, because who doesn't want a camaro for their first car?!?!
Now let me start off by saying that I really appreciate all the work that my parents do so they can give me the best. I am VERY appreciative of what my parents do for me, they're the best parents a kid could ask for and I'm not saying that because of that car. In the end it's a THING. If I didn't have it I would still love my parents just as much and i would still appreciate them all the same. Now that I have said that, back to the story... It all started about 1-2 years ago when my parents were looking for a different car they knew this would be the car I would be driving when I got my license. I was around 14 and they were skeptical but I have always told my dad I wanted some type of muscle car. He said I could get a 73 Chevelle , well, that was before I layed my eyes on the 5th gen So when we went to the dealership we looked at some family cars and then over in the corner is my soon to be car, but none of us knew it yet. We looked over at the camaros and I fell in love with every single one of them. I was running around every car saying "oh, I like the red one, I like the blue one, I like the etc. etc. (at the time I didn't know the really names of the colors) At this point I didn't care what color it was I wanter a camaro! So we took the IBM one out for a spin and my mom was iffy about it because of the blind spots but my dad said I would get used to them and everything would be fine but we were in the LS model and when my mom got to test drive it she noticed it didn't have power seats she didn't like that. So we got out of the car and looked at the Black with silver rally stripes 1LT (soon to be the one) and it had everything. Next thing you know my parents talked for 5 minutes and the said they wanted that one! My jaw hit the floor I was running laps around the place! Words can not describe how happy I was. They signed the papers and e and my dad walked out to the camaro and I did this little snoopy dance thing before I got in the car. Turns out the whole sales department saw me do it because the walls were made out of glass and they were all cracking up at me I didn't care I had gotten a NEW camaro! My 16th birthday is coming up in December and I can't wait! I've had a year or two to get it where its at so its a little different than others Here it is in its current state after 1-2 years of progressive modding List of mods Performance: K&N Cold Air Intake Borla Performance Exhaust Axle-Back Cosmetic: Interior: Door panels and dash trim removed and hydro dipped carbon fiber All interior bezels hydrodipped carbon fiber also IBM accent covers for volume/climate control Carbon fiber steering wheel vinyl overlay Exterior: LEDglow 3 million color Underglow and Wheel Well kit Tower decals (Silver) Hash marks Tower decals (Silver) Hash marks extended with custom 1LT in extension Tower decals (Silver) Gill stripes Tower decals (Silver) Trunk Kit Tower Decals (Silver) Rim bow tie insert SS diffuser swap hydro dipped black carbon fiber Billet Grill upper and lower Plastidipped Rear Bowtie Plasti-Dipped Rims flat Black Engine Bay: Engine cover hydrodipped blue carbon fiber Fuse Box Hydrodipped blue carbon fiber Wish List of Mods: 22" concavo Rims Razzi Ground Effects Kit Headlight and Fog light RGB halos Raked Lowering Kit ZL1 front end Splitter with Grille support Rods Darker Tint Grey with blue accent piping leather seats And my dad has been talking about a TT lately… We'll see about that Some Pictures of the various mods:
