ordered the intake from Jegs just before 7pm last night, the box was sitting in my Garage at 10:53 am this morning. fastest shipping I think I have ever experienced

Father / Daughter day
Time to bring the car out of storage here in WI! Stopped and had Hawk ceramic brakes installed (great price and shipping from RDP Motorsports) then home for the r2c cold air filter...my 17 yr old daughter was way into it, asking about different parts on the car and helping install! Finished up, and wow the sound is great and it was warm enough to take the top down!!!
Great start to the weekend, especially after a Badger win! |

For folks that don't put a ton of miles on their Camaros, how often do the CAI filters need to be cleaned/recharged? Is it still mileage based if it takes a couple years to get 10-15,000 miles or is there a "or once a year, whichever comes sooner" attached to that?

We put about 4500 miles on the car last summer and figure thats going to be pretty typical for us.

mine is a dry filter right now, but had an oiled vararam on my last camaro, definitely would clean it more often, at least once a year.

It depends on the area. In a dusty area you would want to do it somewhere between 5-10k miles. In less dusty areas you could go 20k. If it looks dirty, clean it.
