Heat

Here in south Texas where the tempature today is reading 98 in the car & coolant temp is reading 195. Now my question does type of heat effect performance on my magna charged l99 ss.

With a good tune the computer should do it's good and pull timing. So just driving around it will still be fine, however in WOT like at the strip you would notice a drop in performance. If the knock sendor detects a bit of pre-ingition it will cause the computer to pull timing to protect the engine. At least that is what is supossed to happen, more than a few engines have been blown on a bad tune, or if starved for fuel.
Meth is ok, just scary if something goes wrong....boom!
Just get a good tune and run good fuel.

The car drives fine with regular driving. Feel the difference @ wot. Have a tune it's just i didn't notice heat soak issues like this with my 06 gto that had an procharger d1sc. the reason i went with the maggie with the camaro was for looks.
