Anyone plan on removing the engine cover?
I really dont like it at all? I want to see the engine and not some plastic cover...clean it up and add some aftermarket goodies!!

Yup, I'm tossing mine and adding the LS3 vette fuel rail covers. I figure I'll fill in the "CORVETTE", have them painted gloss black and add the chrome "CAMARO" badges that are on the side of the car.

quick question about that.... is the engine cover going to have studs on the intake manifold (like a lot of other cars) that hold the cover on? if so, then it would probably look worse with 4-5 studs sticking out on top of the motor opposed to the engine cover.
I will probably keep my engine cover... only I'll be modifying it to fit over the magnuson I'll be throwing on the car.

it just popped into my head, cus I remember a friend of mine had a charger and I was jokin around with him about the engine cover, and he went and pulled it off..... only to show a bunch of studs sticking out of the intake manifold. tho I guess you could grind them down/cut them off.

I'll eventually toss my cover just so i can see the engine more.. and maybe find something to put over it.. dunno yet, going to wait it out and see what people do and find easiest to do.

i don't particularly like the stock cover, but if it'll have those studs coming up, i'll have to remedy that problem

I'm gonna take the engine cover off, cut it in half, attatch two elastic straps to each half and wear them on my arms as part of my Bumblebee halloween costume.
