On Sunday I went on our 14Th annual Pumpkin Run. 155 cars made up of rods/ resto mods, collector cars and Vintage went on a 3 town car run and ended the day at a shop out in the hills.

There we were all stunned to see the only LS9 in Canada. It is in the bay of a 69 CAMARO with a 6 speed Manual behind it.. They have spent $100,000 so far. 15,000 on front susp. and 15,000 on rear. 2' Tub. and on and on..

Total project will hit $200,000 ( About 180 USA)

While were standing there with out mouths open

a guy says " that is the engine they are putting in the new CAMARO "

Another chirps in. " No ... the CAMARO has been canceled..... after 5000 cars were made."

I could not stand still and made them instantly aware that # 52,000 was made last week. Showed them my CAMARO Jacket with numbers matching VIN. as proof.

If "car guys ' can be this misinformed no wonder the public is so surprised to see the car.

The '69 you speak of wasn't yellow was it??
(I'm thinking if JACKASS, Charley's car.)

NO.... It is still in steel and will be painted black. The serial # on the engine is # 2 .

Number 1 is in the USA.

Mindz, you hate everyone.

But remember, OUR72, you are on the northern fringes of civilization up there in BC.

You're right though, car buffs at least should know about it by now. They certainly do around here.

Ya ........we are about 3.5 hours out from the Village of Vancouver.
