I will be meeting up with several other Hot Rod Power Tour participants in Atlanta on Friday June 3rd to caravan down to Cocoa (or Daytona, in my case). We will be meeting at Summit Racing in McDonough at 10AM. If you are interested, post up or PM me so we can coordinate! It's gonna be fun!

Looks like Valdosta would be one good place to meet, and then maybe Indy for those up North, or the long haulers (regrettably not me). I know some of you have been to Valdosta for C5Fest 1, so please give me some advice!

I'll be in Cocoa Beach by early Friday(that's the plan anyway), going to a VA Home in Daytona at 1:00PM with the group from Bangshift.com. I'm sure will find people at the cruise Friday night or the Show on Saturday.

Anybody else going on the driving tour at Kennedy Space Center on Sunday morning?

I haven't been reading up on the bangshift.com Power Tour forums, but I remember from last year, people get togehter at the local VA in the area where the tour gets started for a car show. I believe they gather some cash to benifit the VA. There may be other local shows going on too. I'll try to find some time to read up.

1) sound amplifying headsets (they have these at Radio Shack)
2) CD players
3) CD's of gospel, country and oldies music
4) Hand held magnifiers
5) Hand held games ie: solitaire, poker, etc.
6) Travel DVD's for their "front porch travels" activity
7) Karaoke CD's of oldies, gospel, and country music for their "sing along" activities
Talking watches for the visually impaired Veterans (also found at Radio Shack)
9) DVD/VHS player
10) Pocket radios with headsets
11) Checker board games
12) Chess game
13) Table top pin ball games
14) Trivia books
15) Puzzle books

This is one of the best donation lists I have ever gotten! Please let me know if you will be able to make this stop on Friday the 3rd from 1-3pm. Thanks freaks, you guys and gals are the best!

Back to the top, we're 2.5 weeks out now. I have 11 cars meeting at Summit Racing at 10AM Friday the 3rd to convoy down to Florida.

We are planning a C5 event possibly driving from Kennedy Space Center to Valdosta, meeting for dinner at the Smokin Pig BBQ. I will update details as it gets closer.
