if you pull the hand brake up the drl's go off.

I was sitting at a long light and used my handbrake and noticed the reflecting drl's from the car in front of me go off

Cool

When I pop the trunk while picking up my teenage sons from school my paint automatically scratches and the trunk lid slams. No extra charge for that.

Door locks when you let go of brakes.

I noticed that if you have the car in D (and brakes on) and someone gets out of the car, the locks will lock the second you let go of the brakes. I found this out when I had to get my kids to get out before pulling into the garage. It does it for both doors, I'm not planning on getting out while in D out of the driver's side, but I guess it comes in handy if you open the door to dump out coffee.

Sorry if I repeated this, but I've read 25+ pages of this 42 page thread, and there are too many repeats. Can the moderators consolidate some of the comments?

I apologize if you already know this, but you can use your radio to determine when your doors automatically lock. There are lots of combinations to choose from.

My 2012 LT convertable has a keyswitch just to the side of the backseat on the driver side so you can open the trunk if there is a loss of power. Convertables don't have a backseat pass through like the coupes.

GM vehicles have been doing this for quite a few years.
Not unique to the Camaro at all.

And only convertibles have that "key" switch way of accessing the trunk.

On my 2012 1LT Convertible I accidently found out that the trunk will not open, (door switch or key fob), if the handle for the top lockdown is not secure!

Yes! This drove me nuts when installing new led drls. I kept thinking they weren't working. I had a 2011 and it did not do this.

That is true.

And if your trunk lid is open, you can not operate the convertible top (either up or down).

Also, the trunk will not open if the engine is running and the parking brake is not engaged (manual transmission cars).
