Welcome! But I agree save for the V8 it will also have better resale value and many more aftermarket parts at your finger tips.

The LT is just as fast or faster than an '05 Mustang GT I've beaten them on the drag strip.

ah...well he has a 2010 right? either way i looked at the specs and the GT didn't start getting the 400+ hp until 2011. 2010 was 100hp less, so now i am straightened out

GT has more torque than an LT and weighs less. V8s are also much more aggressive in its curve and shifting. A GT losing stock to an LT is driver mod. GTs run mid 13s normally and have broken into low 13s. This was pre 5.0 (the 400hp one)

The V6 is a good engine, but you'll be longing for the sound and feel of your GT 4.6. Save for an SS--makes all the difference in the world. It's an entirely different car than the V6 in terms of feel.

I will just have to see what is offered once I have my down payment saved up. I wouldn't mind a SS but, it would have to be the 2SS that is why I amlooking at the 2LT because of the bells and whistles and something below 30k. But, I will see what is presented before me when the time comes. Again thanks for the welcoming !!!

Rally, maybe look at a used SS? You can get one under 30.
