Camaro Corral @ Petit Le Mans October 1-4
I have initiated contact with Road Atlanta regarding a Camaro Corral at the Petit Le Mans race in October. There is an opportunity for us to have one, but we are going to need a minimum of 50 cars.
I know it is a long way off, but I need those interested to post so I can get an idea if we will even be close. Don't want to waste time if there is not enough interest to make it work. This is a much larger event than the Grand Am race last year, so the minimum number is higher. I am working on parade laps, hot laps, meet & greets, etc just like last time. Road Atlanta is sending me prices based on 50 cars this week, so I will pass that along as soon as I have it. For those that are not familiar, Petit Le Mans is a 10 hour race (Saturday) and will be the new IMSA (Tudor racing series), which is the combined old Grand Am series and AMLS series cars. Well the response has been very underwhelming.
Not looking for commitment only interest. I have another call with the track next week, so I need to be able to tell them that we have significant interest or I am afraid we they won't hold a spot for us. This is a great race and the corral just makes it better, so if you are interested at all please post. Thanks |
