That is a pretty wacky theory that most scientists/geologists think is b.s.

Hey longtime lurker first-time poster.

I sent an e-mail to Mr. Morford explaining the differences between "opinionated article/blog" and "blatant misstatement of facts". One equals a successful writer the other shows the writer's ignorance to his or her subject.

That being said ... I don't think I have seen any other negative reviews of the Camaro yet (jalopnik's was lukewarm I guess haha). It was worth it to get excited for a minute and send him an e-mail, but in general his ignorance with respect to the Camaro just shows that his article is pretty much worthless.

I left a comment, too. I have strong liberal leanings, but even I dislike this kind of person.

What really bothers me is the way he attacks the people who would buy the car. Is there any reason to belittle anybody that actually likes the car? I thought liberals were supposed to fight stereotypes. Instead, he employs them in his rants. A touch of hypocrisy?

Who ever wrote that never owned or drove or even rode in any car built by GM or Chevrolet. Simply, they have no idea what they are talking about.

Don't bring your manual transmission car there though:
I wouldn't write off the whole city, I'd write off the whole state. Or at least all of it west of the San Andreas fault, I've been hoping for years that it would shear off at the fault and disappear into the Pacific making the "left coast" a little smaller.

why not just help us put all the hippies on catalina with electric golf carts where they will be happy and leave us "non wacko" californians alone

Hmm... a good communist would hate elitists, not become one. Let's just call him an attention-monger with a grudge and little regard for truth.

I think he nailed the part where he realized that his own overblown self absorbed opinion had no merit and is simply the helpless cry of a desperate man faced with his own failure.
