22000+ miles on Pirelli's

I have 22000+ miles on my original Pirelli tires and today I checked the tread with a tire gauge. The right rear has 4/32 left in the middle - all other tires are 7/32 around. Now I have NEVER spun any tire or slid to a stop but I know that the ring and pinion gears tend to put more power to the right rear wheel. Is that why that RR wheel is down to 4/32 tread left? BTW I use a 3 1/2" racing tire air pressure gauge and keep them all at 36 pounds cold.

Sure would be nice if these tires could be switched from side to side! My next set of Continnental all season will be. Pirelli tires are great road hugging tires but impracticle for me and my driving needs.

That's great mileage out of the stock pirellis. I do believe they can be rotated side to side, as long as they're not directional.

That's the problem with side to rotation - they are directional.

stock P Zero's are not directional..... unless they were different for different year models. Look at them, and turn them around, the tread should run the same way either direction. I switched mine from side to side the tread runs exactly the same I checked 100 times because I thought I was seeing things.

You should notice that the tread lines on the Pirelli's run opposite. One side the tread lines run up, the other side the tread lines run down. Meaning when you turn it around from one side the the other (keeping the outside of the tire/wheel facing out) the tread runs exactly the same. Funny enough my dealership told me when I got the car that the tires were directional, and that the 6.2L was a big block. SMH

Picture for reference.

Also I have the opposite problem, my Left Rear wears abnormally fast.... roughly 2/32"s faster than the Right Rear.
