I average about 27-29 highway and 14-19.5 city.I find it really hard to get my mpg up in the city with all the stop and go traffic!

i have an ls an am averaging 17 even. heavy foot. sucks but i love driving my car so i guess its the price i will have to pay.

going down the hill san bernardino area, I can get around 35. 2lt v6.. 89 octane.. going around 70-ish...

I believe you too, I just did 34 MPG after a fuse pull on 45-50 MPH back roads.

Can't match you around town numbers though, currently at 22.3 MPG in warm weather. Winter forget it.
Seems the V8's can do similar to the V6's.
