A LARGE majority of people would not care about his "mods" as more important would be what would the car be valued under the likes of KBB and similar valuation companies out there. If a true car enthusiast ever bought the car from that person, I would bet the ZL45 badge would be the first thing to go, or bring it to a performance company that enthusiasts would find it acceptable for that shop to add the badge that went with the package they purchase, like what Hennessy,SLP and LPE do.

I don't see anybody giving those guys greif for getting a ZL575, ZL600 etc. package added to there Camaros because they come with warranties. Badging is important and if someone doesn't respect what the true nature of the car is then they are being dishonest to themselves and others around them because they have no honor, no self-respect.

Sure, you can debadge a car to give it that sleeper look, that's accepted in the hot rodding world and it's not like you're telling people your car is not what it is, because people that are enthusiasts will be able to identify what the car is. There is a right and a wrong, there always is. You stated that there is no right and no wrong in these situations, but there are plenty of examples of it out there. I leave it up to you to decide. Edit: I'd like to add that adding a ZL1 grill to a nonZL1 has become acceptable, at first I was not for it because it wasn't original to the car, but since so many people are doing it, as long as people still maintain the integrity of what the car originally is and not pass it off as something its not, then I'm fine with that. I guess I bought into someone's argument here in the forum that it's what should have been originally designed in the first place, but there will be hardcore enthusiasts that will not accept it either. The lines will get grey to those that stray from the norm. That's all I have to say about that....And you're Camaro's look great.

You cant flip flop like that, you say there is a right and wrong, but you are "changing" what was once wrong to being right now with what you said about the grille. Simply because you say that "most people accept it". Acceptable isnt right or wrong, and who are you polling for this, the 10 guys at a local car show and only Camaro5?
Popular doenst mean right, Nazis were popular in Germany at one point.

There is most definitely, NO right and wrong way to mod your own car. Because it is yours.

And yes, I would pay extra for those mods, ZL1 front end, rear, side skirts, rims, diffuser, quad exhaust, are freaking expensive. Its just as much as people would pay for a car that already has a blower.
