OK you guys start stocking away the money now lol. remember I can & will start taking money for the cabins on Jan 1st for who ever wants to go with us. REMEMBER its a 4 day trip this year. THIS EVEN IS OPEN FOR EVERYONE NOT JUST PNWCC MEMBERS BUT EVERYONE.

ok heres the information.

Camaros in the sands is August 30th- Sept 2nd YES THIS IS LABOR DAY WEEKEND so beg your boss for that weekend off you dont want to miss this trip. This trip will be at OCEAN SHORES & Pacific Beach resort
we have 4 cabins booked & those are 4 bedrooms two bath (HOUSES) I know of 3 already are spoken for so I have one left. the cabins prices will be $131.25 for one room in the cabins for the weekend (thats 3 nights & 4 days total)

& in the hotel its $160 for the weekend.

We will meet up on friday morning at the Tacoma Park & ride (at the intersection of I-5 & 512) at 7am, grab a bite to eat at Mcdonalds & then head north over the bridge (tacoma Narrows) & then hit hiway 101, head south through Port Angels & Forks, stopping around Lake cresent for Lunch (picnic) & then hitting Pacific Beach & our cabins at about 5 or so. (its a 5hr trip give or take stops for pictures or what ever)

Heres the break down, Friday is the day of cruise, with a relaxing evening at the hotel bar afterwards,

Saturday is the day for Adults acting like kids at the go carts & put put golf, with a BBQ at the cabins afterwards. (along with a birthday party for my 15yr old daughter, she will have girl friends there)

Sunday is a new day for us & it is at one the beach day, a day that we get to get the cars alittle sandy (not much) & play in the water & relax. along with a bonfire on the beach with hot dogs & smores.

Monday is heading back home its find your one way home time

OK now for the bad news, lol, If you book a room in the cabin & can not attend, you need to find someone else to take your room or your lose your money. We have had to many people back out at the last moment My husband pays for this out of our own pocket since the only way you can book rooms is being Military, retire or DOD.

with the hotel rooms, I will not book any until I have money for a room. again if you cant attend you must find someone to take your spot.

All rooms must be booked no later than august 1st (thats the weekend before we leave for reno) due to resort policies. if rooms are not cancelled 30 days in advance I have to put out of pocket this is one reason for this.

I do think it's great we're taking the scenic route that way this year. I've always driven home from Pacific Beach that way because I love the drive from there to Crescent Lake.

I came back that way the previous time with Mike...but I think he had his eyes glued to his phone

Hard to get kids to enjoy the scenery, however I know when I was growing up I loved seeing the various vistas go by the window. I did also read...we really didn't have much else to do but that and maybe punch-bug type stuff.
