New Member- G35 coupe owner
whatsup everyone... I just joined the forums, looking to get into a camaro this summer... Probably looking for a silver 2lt/RS- manual if possible... been in love with this car since the first renderings haha ... anyway Ive already been researching mods id want to do to the Camaro.. getting a bit ahead of myself but whatever... the mod bug cant be stopped
Anyway, Im a 21 y.o. from NYC, go to school in CT... Heres my current car... 2004 G35 coupe BBK- 4 pot front (14" rotors) 2 pot rear (13.8" rotors) 20" TSW vortex- 8.5F, 10R Lowered on 350Z springs- w/front STB 06/07 projectors- 6000K philips Bi-xenon and fogs to match front lip, black roof, painted grille/emblems JDM DD kit with Pioneer F700BT A Few bolt-ons, probably putting out a little over 300hp crank.. (280 stock) the rest of the mods are little things- clear corners, dynamatted doors, LED's all around, etc Last edited by BrOnXxBoMbAz213; 01-29-2011 at 04:20 PM. |

Very nice ride! The GS coupe series has a refined feel, the Camaro more aggressive tones. You'll love Camaro ride, and the torque, too.

thanks everybody for the compliments/welcomes
dont get me wrong... i love my G35...but ive only owned it from june 09, and I got into it as a stepping stone... a '10 camaro has been my true love as soon as it was rumored haha g35- paid cash for it .. yeah 5 years old at the time, but i hate the feeling of owing money leasing/financing, so thats why i went that route... looking to do the same with the camaro within the next few months Last edited by BrOnXxBoMbAz213; 01-30-2011 at 02:31 AM. |

I don't think a G35 coupe is a stepping stone to a Camaro LT.

way i look at it is this... im not the type to race or anything... i havent lost any interest in my car... the 2lt is just as powerful as my g35 is with my mods... anything over 300hp, its more about looks to me... the extra money id save on gas and insurance by going with a 2lt, id rather put into modding it to my tastes.. dont get me wrong though... i would love a 2SS... things change.. i graduate in May, so we'll see... maybe ill step into a 2ss... all i know is i want an RS regardless Last edited by BrOnXxBoMbAz213; 01-30-2011 at 03:07 AM. |

That's a nice G35. I'd keep it for another three years and wait on the Alpha platform Camaro.

That is a nice ride. I like the 35's more compared to the newer 37's. Honestly, I would keep it. You have some tasteful mods and work done to it.

well see what happens though... always loved the camaros and have wanted one for years- muscle cars have always been my thing... before i picked up the g35 i was inches from buying a GTO, but as much as i love those cars, theyre a little too plain IMO, so i went for the G maybe ill just hold out a little longer and just go for the 2SS... either way, I wont be ready to start my real search and listing my car for sale and everything until after i graduate in May... but regardless, ill be a pretty active member on here until then thanks everyone for the welcomes here are some more current pics... since that photoshoot, ive painted the emblems/ grille black had the tails sprayed with a light tint for a deep cherry appearance (reverse circles untinted) before and after haha Last edited by BrOnXxBoMbAz213; 01-30-2011 at 03:38 PM. |
