My parts guy told me the gauges will be about $600 installed.

I hope this doesn't make me sound stupid but.......I don't drive my camaro much at night I guess and don't recall if I have ever seen the gauges lit up. Do they ? Also seems that they never move, I am wondering if there is a problem. If anyone knows please advise me, maybe I can save myself a trip back to the dealership. Thanks!!
