Are you saying you paid $36k for an LT? Maybe I missed something.

Back when I was looking at a 2LT I got one figured up for around $28k. That was with RS and a sunroof.

Assuming you paid even $30k then $26k is not that bad for a dealership trade-in.

I added other options with it like: the Car cover, mats, trunk net, rally stripes, color matching flares and engine color matching cover + tax and fees. It adds up. I did requested the RS, but the computers at GM had some glitch that bumped off the RS package. Remember that? Plus here in New York, the prices are ridiculous. Is not like some places in the mid-west that the prices are affordable.

I love the V6, I wouldn't even consider trading it in, i'll upgrade it for whatever i'm unhappy with.

I got SOOO tired of driving trucks for the last eighteen years simply because resale value on trucks is unreal compared to ANY car. I traded a '09 Z71 with 14,000 miles for my Camaro. Best I could figure, it cost me $2200 to put the miles on the truck. My neighbor payed MSRP in cash for a Camaro a few weeks ago and replicated my beliefs...
