thx stinger69 soon i can go at this full bore ahead.just picked me up a front bumper cover thats like new condition that one needs alot of work,it even came with the bumper and radiator core wich are hard to find in decent shape, maybe i can sell that dont need it.even has the headlight buckets in it.cant wait to get my baby all sanded down then primed,so i can sart block sanding it,thats the part i enjoy doing,so i know its perfectly straight.i think that bright cobalt blue metallic is gonna look awesome, diffrent not like all the others.kinda unique dont see many painted cobalt blue

well spent the day bolting up the whole front clip, when i got the car there was only about 5 bolts holding it all together.luckily i saved all my bolts from the 80 camaro they came in handy.but only put them all on loosely, tomarrow i will atemt to change the bumper covers to the better one, supposed to warm up a little.was cold today.we got about 8 inches of snow all together, yukkk!!!

bumper covers

finally got the chance to work on my z28 today, warmed up a little today,so i got the passenger fender all sanded today it was a relief to find no big bondo repairs, but im gonna need a little filler on the top edge,it has a few small ripples in the metal an easy fix.spent most of the day sanding my front bumper cover, probably the worst part on the car, just needed a little TLC,im not going with the black cover for now needs some work first has 3 broken tabs, this one has no cuts or gouges just the paint had a bunch of spider cracks all over where they failed to use a flex additive on it.now its all sanded smooth and feathered and ready for my poly flex plastic flexible filler, thats tomarrows project was to cold today to apply the filler tomarrow is gonna be warmer, then i can sand it all flat and really smooth then apply my 2k primer if the weather co-operates.in the morning i will sand it it one last time before applying the filler and clean it real good with wax and grease remover.

Looks good. How are you going to tackle the rust in the floors? Will you weld it yourself?
