I ran a 13.3 stock on a cold day on unprepared concrete and NO traction....with 3/4 of a tank of gas and my big 270 lb ass in the driver's seat. What do I win?

i took it up to the track with 650 miles on it take in consideration with the shitty break-in oil. i ran 4 times starting with a 14.3 @ 103 i ended the last run with practice and gettin used to the best launch rpms. i launched it the very last run at 1k rpm and i ran a 12.9 @ 111 ( and yes my car is bone stock )

tires

with stock tires they just spin at track --they are for road racing ,I ran a 13.5
with same mods just a 2.5 60ft . So I went a bought some mickey thompson
drag radials and now it hooks like crazy (bogs) and i dont have enough power or clutch to get a better launch.

No offense OP, I'm not a drag race fan so I many never take it to the strip. If I do however I will gladly post results.

I've become more and more interested in this gadget:
I think it help the bog and can blip the throttle between gears.
It can be turned off and on, all I can say is I find it interesting.

I think the tires hook pretty good. Given, they wont take much of a shock, but if you are smooth with the clutch you can easily be WOT and out of the clutch, without spinning the tires at all, within 20' or so. If you are too quick with it the tires are going to give up. Once they break loose the pass is blown... you arent going to be able to dump the clutch and hope for the best on any low profile tire. This tire gets out much better than the factory 275's on an SS in my opinion.

Sounds like you are too aggressive with your clutch.

Practice

I need more practice and more power makes it
Worse for launching, don't want to fry my stock clutch maybe after new clutch
I will get aggressive with my launches

How much power are you making? I really like the stock clutches. They have great feel and hold a good bit of power reliably.

When you launch just try to maintain that 4000rpm and not spin. The clutch will handle it for a lot longer than most people think. The parts will hold up to a lot of power as long as you don't dump the clutch and shock the system. If you feel wheelhop, GET OUT OF IT! Lol

13.1 at 111 with a 2.3 60ft. I heated the tires up pretty good and still spun. The suspension on these cars are way too stiff and the tranny is not geared properly either. I was going through the traps mid way through 4th.
