Cool New DD- 97 Cherokee

Since I am probably insane, I sold my 84 fiero that my dad and I did a complete motor and trans rebuild on. Was running very well...
And I bought this hunk of junk

Bought a new set of wheels and tires. Have new bumpers and plastics for it (not on yet). Power steering pump and idler pulley replaced. Needs a very small lift, interior cleaned, and probably the hood repainted.

Where we're at now.

17 and I can't stop buying crap. yay me.

Nice! I really like that color. I may buy another one sometime...
They really do seem to be reliable. I have 16x,000 miles on mine, does fine. How many miles on yours?

In my family we have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee that has been passed around and has 210,000 miles on it. I just paid for a new radiator and a new ignition module, other than the basic oil changes its been running great.

I really like that body style Cherokee and might pick one up as a winter beater whenever I get a house. But around this area they all overpriced IMO for a decent one.

I love those boxy Cherokees, my fave is the rare 2 door model. I was living FL in the 90s and this was when gas was still cheap I had the chance to buy a 2 door rear drive with the 4.0 6 and auto tranny but the guy wanted too much $$$ for it :(.

I'm thinking of selling our Jeep Grand Cherokee, mom said she wants something that is better on gas. I'm against it because it floods here in Houston and I know that as long as she drive the Jeep she will do way better than most cars.
