Yeah, I've pretty much owned most of the flight simulators that have come out over the years. Not every one, but a hell of a lot.

The A-10C simulation is amazingly detailed. It's not for the faint of heart. When I was looking for video on it, I saw one "review" of the software, and the reviewers were talking while trying to start up the engines, etc. They were completely lost.

Thanks for sharing. Man They have come along way. We used to use ****pit Procedure Trainers made out of cardboard. Hence the nickname "PaperTrainers" We still use CPTs but they are now Touchscreens Next thing they will be Holograms with Touch Sensitivity LOL

Thanks again, SSBUSDRVR. Yeah, I've been all over the AirVenture website and even googled the question to see if anything turned up in a discussion forum somewhere but, nothing yet. The organizers do say there will be more details posted as the show gets closer. I'll post the question in a couple other forums I frequent too. There's lot's of time yet so hopefully I'll get some tips.

In the following two images you can see that one aircraft of the nine plane team is missing. The pilot woke up with the sniffles that morning and was not allowed to fly the show.

Here's a 70,000 ft. U2 fly along with a video camera. VERY cool! If you watch Top Gear you'll recognize the passenger.

Bring them on! can't remember what year it was.Damn getting old We were touring a Vineyard in St Catherines area on a visit to Niagra Falls. We were walking down the road all of a sudden we got "buzzed" by the Snowbirds but one was missing They were flying the missing man formation. Never forget that day but sure forget the year.LOL but bet the wife remembers.
