3.5” pulley whipple

Was wondering if guys were swapping the 3.65” pulley with the whipple out for the 3.5” pulley.. or even the 3.375.

im not looking for tons more power. More of the hellcat whine lol. Doing a big gulp roto fab intake as well, and do 93 octane. If i do the intake and octane it needs a tune so best bang for buck is tuning with the pulley at the same time. Selling a house and having this covid stuff isnt the best idea for spending tons atm. Dont want ripping out internals and forging and going the whole way on it making the blower scream. happy with power level now. Ive been reading some guys have belt slip or your running out of fuel. Just want to know if you could get away with a 3.5” , 3.375 safely.

With the new air intake and you will hear more of a whine.
I just returned my Hellcat and the whine is intoxicating.

You can do the 3.5” pulley without an issue on 93 octane. No way you’re getting belt slip on the 10-rib system unless you have the wrong size belt installed. I’d recommend at least a 95mm throttle body be installed at the same time to go with the new intake too.

I am running a 3.375 with Big gulp on E50 but I have a full fuel system. I can hear the supercharger quite a bit now. The Big Gulp made the biggest difference because I had the regular RF intake prior with the same pulley. You will likely need LT4 fuel system to run a 3.375 and more possibly more octane then 93. The 3.5 pulley and big gulp will put you right at the edge of the fuel systems capability on 93.

Currently running a 2.785 upper and a 9.1 lower. Spinning this monster to the moon. The noises it makes are insane.

The OP is not going to be doing that on a stock bottom end and stock LT1 fueling my friend. Well, if he does, he’ll only be doing it for one short pull.

If you go with the Big Gulp you'll probably need a reducer to fit the stock TB. And I think you'll be negating the purpose of a smaller pulley without upgrading your fuel system to take advantage of it, but wiser minds will reply.
