Ford is finding out the hard way what happens when you get parts from China....inconsistent manufacturing. The transmission design itself is quite good, and most of them are problem free (mine has been perfect). However, they seem to be getting bad "batches" in the mix more often than normal....a little like the problem with some of the early run Mexican Tremecs in the Camaro, except the bad runs seem to be recurring a little more often in the case of the Mustang.

You're buying into your own hype. Now a LTH + CAI SS is a match for Vipers and Lamborghinis?

By the way, I ran a 12.52@115 in 3600DA with just a Ford Racing tune and GT500 mufflers. The run was done on Hankook evo v12 275 series tires and the only suspension mods are Eibach shocks and springs. The car is far from a perfect set up for drag racing. I'll see if I can get the video of my run against a 5th gen with headers, intake, tune, and exhaust off my facebook and put it on here.

The Mustang was tested in full race mode while the Camaro and Challenger for that matter were not......

Here is a video of how to get into the different modes.....
As always I warn people to take it easy and try and master one before you move on to another one.... a closed course is a good idea..... Now get out there and meet your car

LOLOL, a total of THREE have ran 12.5-12.6, one was 12.5 and it was questionable it coulde even be called stock. The Mustang is the quicker car stock for stock with equal drivers. Isn't the best 5.0 stock like a 12.3 or 12.4? Not typical, but no less typical than a mid 12 SS. Ans no, the best stock times were NOT on slicks.

I'm merely stating the facts that I have seen it all out there so save the this is all this and that is all that.......

Furthermore yes everyone gets beat sometime......
Miss a shift off a little here or there and you are looking at the taillights.....

Sorry I seen it all and the 2013 GT500 YES that is some serious moving.....
But even that is having issues with the trans.......

People kill thinking all you need to do is get in the car and you will go that fast.....
All of these cars are fast and near all take a lot of practice to get the most out of them.....

LS3 vs Mn6 5.0= drivers race, I have seen some pitiful mn6 drivers and some really good ones, cars really to close to make a difference unless the same guy drives both.

L99 vs Auto 5.0= 5.0 win

All things being stock of course

Which is why my L99 isn`t stock..

Dude again you must be new at this.....
When you can you hide that fact that you can.....

To if nothing else lift some money off ya.....

Again no one is shivering in their boots over no 5.0...
Please stop embarrassing yourself trying to intimidate with a stock 5.0..
You aren't a Z06 or GTR or something that brings that kind of rep....

He was so sure I wouldn't even hang with him, to the point of being VERY kocky and borderline disrespectful, but his smug look quickly turned to shock as I pulled ahead, and he accused me of not being stock. I assured him that I was, (besides a muffler delete) and then asked him to "take it easy on those bowties"! He was visably upset.

This, on a short PRIVATE, paved surface of course. I made him, humble!
