Thoughts on Ceramic Pro coatings
Has anyone had this done on their car? Just wondering what your thoughts are. I usually do my own paint correction and whatnot but sometimes life happens and the time just isn't there. I'm thinking about having my car done with Ceramic Pro Coatings. Some areas are already protected by Xpel, the rest including the wheels will be coated. Just want to get some opinions and feedback. Thanks.

Definitely go with CQuartz Finest over Opti Coat if you're having it done professionally . It looks better and the water sheeting is better. I installed Opti coat on my car while I was in college. I recently polished it off, but am probably going to redo it with CQuartz UK as I just graduated and got a new job. I won't have much free time.

Ceramic Pro is not a CarPro product. Ceramic Pro has a good rep in the industry but their first try at marketing was a flop ( high pressure IMO ) but has now been redone and more realistic. I do not represent either company at this time.

There are quite a few coatings.... probably too many that are good. For self coated the easiest is probably polish angel cosmic. Its not cheap but is very easy to use. It will probably be my go to for my personal cars. Thier products are top notch.
http://www.polishangel.us/collection...smic-9h-system Gtechniq is good with C1 and Exo..... but exo is been on back order for some time. I have this on my Z. A little trickier than polish angel. I am waiting for an order of the new black fire crystal coat that I will try on my other vehicles. http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-pa...ating-kit.html As an alternative there is this a blend of wax and coating in wax form. http://www.esotericcarcare.com/kamikaze-infinity-wax/ If I were paying someone who can access pro versions I would go for gtechniq crystal serum. http://usa.gtechniq.com/products/aut.../crystal-serum |

Decided to have the Ceramic Pro applied. The shop doing it used to use GTecnique but they had issues with getting product etc. Hoping this coating helps cut down on the cleaning time, although I love cleaning my car so,entires life has more important things to take care. Less time cleaning more time with my kid. Should be done this week, I'll post pics when I get them.
