Ears are it for me, the rest are just fad fashion that will disapear as often as it reapears as cool, but the ears will always be standard.

IMO...anything bigger stands out like a big red pimple.

I like it myself. I have 7 in my ears alone. Don't plan on getting anymore but I think it looks good on you. As far as the appropriateness, yea it's fine. Thats why there is the "off topic" section.
