There are plenty of people around here that can afford one so you may see one. However they may not be a member of Camaro5. We have 86,129 members and there have been 395,974 Camaro's built. 80% chance a local buyer may not be one of us.

I would love to race one on the autocross or road course tracks... see how my little SS stacks up to it.

So many are complaining about the cost, how much do you have into that awesome machine? I bet over 75K.

I am well north of 75K. I would still rather have my Custom SS -
I know every nut and bolt of my one-off hand built car.

Don't disagree! Car is awesome, just giving perspective on cost. If someone has the want or need to go to a track and race and not the ability to build their own, you get one hell of a road course car for 75K. It is a value in my mind for what you get. Some folks actually do have 75K (or more) to spend on a car. Unfortunately I am not one of them.

I love my ZL1, great car for street and will be decent if I ever get to a road course again which is even less likely now that I am trying to get the 73 going but if I had the money, I would get one in a heartbeat. What is the new Z06 going to cost?

Yes I agree with you - the Z is a great car for the price. I need to see one to see if I like the fender flares, though.

I don't like them, I was lucky enough to get a quick ride in one last summer (I barely remember warm weather). That was the one thing I did not really care for. Looks like aftermarket add on.
