Same thing with multi pump e85 setups. Even before I did e85 I ran a dual pump system to support 1100+ on pump gas. I had the secondary pump fail. No big deal. Wideband would go from 11 to 19:1 real quick and car would sputter and not pull. Said "crap, fuel pump must have died". Went back and hot wired it and it wasn't kicking on.

[QUOTE=dreksnot;9467692]I'm ain't no English teacher, but I believe he meant Hobbs switch on the fuel, and use failsafes with meth. (missing a comma)
i had a Hobbs switch on my meth kit. And meth didn't turn on

Then you didn't have a good meth kit. No quality meth system runs a hobb switch. Then again, even if they did, nothing wrong with a hobbs swtich. Almost all dual/triple fuel systems use them for kicking on the other pumps. I much rather have meth not come on than fuel pumps not come on.

I run both and use a flex fuel sensor. Been like that for a year. My biggest regret is I didn't do it sooner.
