Pulling the trigger tomorrow on a cold air induction system.

I know this is all over Camaro 5, but I am looking for advice and vendor participation. I have a 2011 SGM with auto and V6. I am leaning towards a black CAI Brand as it is made in my home state of Michigan. My car has all black trim so I am planning on going with a black/carbon fiber theme. I am also looking for the best deal, so if any vendors want to give me your best shot. I have done two Dyno pulls for a baseline, my plan is to do a pull after every mod. And publish the results here. So vendors here is a chance to put your money where your mouth is. I am ordering before noon CST.
Here are my plan mods to start: Cold air induction.
Polished throttle body,
Intake isolator,
Exhaust cat back, axle back, or complete with
headers? ( Haven't figured that out yet, want
the performance, looks and the sound! I want
the sound at stop lights and driving around
town.

Thanks, I have a 15 year old son who only wanted to skate board with his buds and play video games. Since getting the Camaro he is really into it, we go to all kinds of car shows, he talked me into Dyno ing it. And can't wait to help with the mods. What a great fathers day gift. He is becoming a "Car Guy!". The future looks bright for our hobby!

If you don't mind a suggestion, I suggest you wait on the ported throttle body until the end or near the end. Since the tb only really helps throttle response, it is not essential if your satisfied with throttle response already. At the point I am with my mods, I would like a little more throttle response but don't believe the price for a throttle body is worth it since I'm slightly satisfied. So I'm going to wait until the end and then see how I feel about it then.

Oh and one more thing... Take your time on deciding on what exhaust you get. Don't be afraid to do your own thing if you feel you don't like a specific setup enough. Take into account everything. Things from idle rumble to drone to rasp to volume and even acceleration sound are things to be considered. Contemplate everything so you won't have to throw more money into a system you don't like and have to fix.

I installed a K&N Typhoon filter on my 2011 v6. I cannot begin to tell you the difference in the sound, which makes it feel faster (I know, dumb), but it sounds like a complete different car. When I romp on the gas, heads turn from the sidewalks now, as opposed to the muted stock sound you hear.

I dig it. The K&N was a chrome / black setup.

Here's before:

Here's After...

Make sure you post up pix after you've added it. GL!

I setup an account with www.flickr.com, post the images there. Then use the picture logo on the tool bar above to post the link from flickr.
